The Capsule Kit
We send the studio. You bring the stories.
You do not need a film crew or a single piece of your own equipment. The Capsule Kit and the phone in your pocket are enough.

The principle
One sitting, by design
The whole interview happens on a single Recording Day. One outfit, one afternoon light, one energy level, and a film that flows like one long conversation at the kitchen table. When you set up your project you pick the chapters that fit your person, The Basics first, then the parts of their life worth lingering on.

The script
The notebook runs the show
The spiral-bound notebook is the script. Open it to the first tab, ask what is printed, and let them talk. Each section has blank pages for questions your own family wants asked. Before Recording Day, relatives send questions through your project link, and we email them to you to be penciled in.
What was your mother like in the kitchen?
Tell me about your first car.

A bonus, never a requirement
Have a second screen handy? We'll direct
The box is complete on its own. But if a tablet or a second phone is nearby, open the Recording Companion and it will direct the whole session for you: a setup checklist, a framing guide, an audio test, the questions paced chapter by chapter, and a moment to upload each section as you go.
Chapter 3 of 6 · Career
“What was your first job, and what did it pay?”
Let them finish. Silence is where the good stories start.
Done with this chapterAfter the upload
Then we take it from there
Upload the footage and watch your project move along its timeline. Our editors craft the film, and the moment it is ready, the QR placard from your kit points to it. Streamable, downloadable, and theirs forever.
