The Voices of Valor Project

A documentary series connecting aging veterans with a younger generation through real conversation. Students ask the questions, veterans reflect on their life and service in their own words, and the stories get passed on.

How it works

History, told so it feels human

Inspired by the conversational interviews younger generations actually watch, each film is driven by real student questions, a natural, curiosity-led dialogue instead of a lecture.

  1. Students askEach class learns the veteran's background, then records their questions on a simple phone video. No production needed, just curiosity.
  2. Veterans tellWe sit down with the veteran for a relaxed, filmed conversation answering the students' questions. No script, no pressure.
  3. The final filmEach interview becomes a short documentary, paired with infographics and historical footage that give the story context.

Veterans

If you or someone you know served in the United States military and would like to tell their story, we would be honored to hear from you.

Teachers and students
